Loeki Prins
Loeki Prins is a 19 year old 3rd year animation student at HKU, currently on an exchange at RMIT. In her work she explores themes of the identity, sexuality, nature and mythology, usually recognisable for it’s bright colours and organic shapes. Although her main field of study is 2D animation, she doesn’t shy away from exploring whatever medium adds to her current project.
Forbidden Fruits
An animated short exploring the erotic nature of the floral kingdom.
Forbidden Fruits is my second year HKU student film. It will be premiering at Media Animation Festival (MAF) on the 27th of August, 2025. After which it will take part in the exhibition Sapiens: the art of being human from the 29th of October to the 23rd of November 2025 at the Firma in Gouda.
Flora Erotica
Born during the process of developing my second year student film. Flora Erotica is what I call my latest big artistic research project. It dives into my own sexuality and gender in a way that’s completely new for me, combining said topics with my botanical interests.
For this project, I plan to document my research in small (digital) zines that will be available on my Ko-fi.
